We had a very nice time performing at Spinning Mill Gallery tonight.
The encounter between Reiko Imanishi & Rhizottome (koto, sopranino sax and accordion) was full of interesting exchanges, moved by intercultural knowledges and intense feelings.
We deeply dived into japanese traditional music covers, gently mixed with koto accompanying some bourrées 3 temps…
Aerial silences. Melodies from the past. Stir conjugated on the present tense, on the first person plural.
We will soon record some excerpts at Villa Kujoyama, before performing again at Nuit Blanche (October 3rd) with Ryotaro Sudo.
It will take place at Shimogamo jinja, Kyôto.
